Look at http://www.motoinzerce.cz or http://www.bazos.cz however I think there are very few Schwalbes here in Czech Republic (and even less with registration) so you will probably have to wait patiently and check those sites often |

First of all, thank you very much for your reply! I will check these pages Then: What is important to know about registration, license plate, insurance? Because in Germany the Simson Mopeds are "special". no speed limit, you have to have official papers from a certain institute and insurance. then you are done. How does it work here? Sorry for annoying with my questions, but I WANT TO HAVE A SCHWALBE |

madoganci píše: What is important to know about registration, license plate, insurance? Schwalbe is pretty rare here. Finding a good one is probably the single most difficult part. What is important to know? Well... you are looking for a motorbike with registration and valid insurance - the green card. In czech its called "TP" - technicky prukaz or "STK". These two things are the most important. The rest is peace of cake. Just some paperwork. According to Czech law Simson is regular motorbike with no excuses. You are not allowed to drive it on public roads without driving licence, registration, insurance and helmet. Are you going to visit south-east moravia? We can go for a beer |

So basically It has to be ready to ride with registration and insurance... ok But now you confused me : Ond3x píše: According to Czech law Simson is regular motorbike with no excuses. I only have a car- drivers license, not a motorcycle one. But In Germany this is enough for 50ccm. So does this mean i can't ride it here? Another thing: Is it possible to bring my own schwalbe from Germany, with german license plate and just ride it here? PS: If I succeed and find a Schwalbe... hell yeah we could go for a drink |

madoganci píše: I only have a car- drivers license, not a motorcycle one. But In Germany this is enough for 50ccm. So does this mean i can't ride it here? Its ok. You can drive it with your licence. Czech car drivers licence is slightly different. It allows you to drive 50 ccm motorcycles with top speed of 45 km/h or 125ccm motorbike with automatic gearbox. Simson is 50ccm however it has top speed of 60km/h so we shouldnt drive it. But... nobody cares Citace: Another thing: Is it possible to bring my own schwalbe from Germany, with german license plate and just ride it here? Sure |

Aha! Ok Thanks again for the answers!! +By the way... Ond3x píše: Czech car drivers licence is slightly different. In german it is the same rule with 45km max speed. But since Simsons were produced in East Germany and it was impossible to forbid these hundreds of thousands of mopeds, the "NEW" Germany just made an exception. so the rule of 50ccm and 45kmH is valid for any motorcycle in germany, BUT the Simsons.
